By downloading, accessing, or using the Aria News mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Aria News provides AI-generated and professionally narrated summaries of news articles, market insights, and thematic analyses. The content is for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered professional advice (including journalistic, financial, legal, or medical).
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or our services.
All intellectual property rights in the App—including AI-generated summaries, audio narrations, illustrations, design, and code—belong to JV&Co or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its content.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes; (b) reverse engineer or interfere with the App; (c) use bots/scrapers; (d) upload or transmit content that infringes others’ rights.
Summaries and narrations may be generated by AI based on public and proprietary research. While we strive for accuracy and neutrality, JV&Co does not guarantee completeness, reliability, or factual accuracy. You acknowledge AI-generated content may contain errors and agree not to rely on it for financial, political, medical, or other critical decisions.
Premium features may require a paid subscription processed via Apple’s App Store under your Apple ID and governed by Apple’s in-app purchase policies. All payments are final; refunds are handled by Apple. Pricing and features may change; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service and do not sell user data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The App may reference or link to third-party sources. JV&Co does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JV&Co and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App; errors or inaccuracies; unauthorized access; or interruptions or failures. If liability cannot be excluded, JV&Co’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JV&Co from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your license ends immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Disputes with JV&Co must be resolved individually, not as part of a class or collective action.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We designed Aria News to collect as little personal data as possible. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Aria News iOS application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
A. You provide (optional):
• Account data: email address (or “Sign in with Apple” relay email) for authentication.
• Subscription data: anonymized transaction info to verify subscription status. We do not store credit card data.
B. Collected automatically (minimized):
• Device info (model, OS version, language, app version).
• Anonymous usage stats and crash logs via Apple diagnostics. No PII attached.
C. No tracking or profiling:
• No third-party tracking SDKs or advertising identifiers (IDFA).
• No behavioral ads or cross-site tracking.
Operate and maintain the App, verify/restore purchases, improve performance, and respond to support. No advertising use; no data resale.
We do not sell or rent data. Limited sharing with service providers strictly to operate the App (e.g., Apple for IAP and diagnostics; cloud hosting/auth). Providers are contractually bound to use data only to provide services and not for marketing.
We retain data only as long as needed to maintain accounts/subscriptions, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 12 months. You can request deletion at any time (Section 9).
Transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), token-based auth, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
Not directed to children under 13. If a child provides personal info, contact us and we will delete it.
If you access from outside the U.S., data may be processed in the U.S. For EU users, processing bases: contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Rights: access, correction, deletion, objection, and complaint to a DPA.

You can also disable “Share iPhone Analytics” in iOS settings to reduce diagnostics sharing with Apple. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email before taking effect. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
